 The capabilities of the PocketPC are amazing, but sadly, some of the simplest features are very poorly designed and are not very feature packed. One can easily purchase a program like Pocket Informant or Agenda Fusion to increase the quality of many basic included applications, but the ability to display the information on the today screen that is most important is also hard to find with these applications. Pocket Breeze fills this void very well. The program has a very long list of options for those who are very picky with how the application works and I commend the creators for these options.

After the installation of the program is complete, you must decide which program you would like to implement into Pocket Breeze. Some of the common options that a user may pick from include Calendar, which is the basic program included with PocketPC's, Pocket Informant, or Agenda Fusion. I personally use Pocket Informant but I have no doubt that the other programs would work just as well. Immediately after completing the short options list, I decided to continue to the options menu because options are very important to me and going through the entire list of options makes me feel like I have set the software up the best as it can be set up, for my needs. This went smoothly and the options include short descriptions for each one to help identify what each option does. SBSH included so many options that there are few in the world who will be disappointed.
The program loads very quickly on the today screen with the HX4700 PocketPC. With this program, the other programs that are included, such as tasks and calendar, do not need to be displayed on the today screen because this program implements all of these together into one program and it is very easy to switch views between tasks and calendar, etc. This saves today space and the default setting is to show these items combined. When there are too many items to display on the area allocated for the program, there is a scroll bar that allows the user to scroll and this feature is also well designed. The bar does not scroll extremely fast and it is easy to control.
In addition, it is very easy to select a specific area of time with only a few taps. This allows the user to view other dates quickly to see if there is an opening or to see what items are scheduled for a future date. Icons are also implemented well because the software works well with Pocket Informant. All of the icons I set to items in Pocket Informant show up on the program and they help determine what type of appointment each item is at a glance. It seems that the creators of the software also do a very good job of updating the software and in fact, an update was released only about a day before this review was written. There is also an option that allows the program to be minimized. This will shrink the size of the area taken on the today screen temporarily so other parts of the today screen can be viewed more easily.
Three options exist that allow specific types of data to be viewed. The first is a combination of tasks and calendar data, the second is tasks alone, and the third shows birthdays and aniversaries at a glance. These make it easy to view exactly what is important quickly. Along with this, there is a feature that allows only a speicific category of items to be displayed and this is also very easy to access.
If you are looking for a program that will allow you to make better use of all of your calendar data, then look no further than Pocket Breeze. I highly recommend it because it is the best program that I have seen for this type of application. Other solutions don't go as far as Pocket Breeze and the price is not too bad, either, so be sure to check them out!
