| PocketPC Pathways has its own search engine which was built by the webmaster of the website. You have a few options to select before entering a search query. First, you must determine where you would like to search. This allows you to be sure to get exactly the results you are looking for. At the moment, you may search in articles, site messages, or the forum. Articles will search through all of the homepage articles that have been published to PocketPC Pathways. Site messages will search through messages that you will see on many pages. You are reading a message right now. Some messages are searchable by the public and some are not. They will usually be hidden from searches because either they do not have anything worth searching, such as the footer at the bottom, or the message is used by PocketPC Pathways for another purpose, such as a handy todo list for the site. Finally, you may search through the entire site forum. Every thread posted will be searched and you can easily jump to a specific thread by clicking the link, which is actually the title of the thread the message is under.
Some additional options that you have include the ability to set the lines of text to display under each result. This is useful because you may not even need to open a page to see what you need to know. Unlimited will display every line that has a word which you searched for and can take a lot of space. Use the per page option to set how many results should be placed on each page. Finally, try similar words will make a slight attempt to try other variations of words. Enjoy using our search and we hope you find what you are looking for. Feel free to send us feedback on how you like our search engine. |
